Bike Racing, Snetterton

After visiting Snetterton earlier this year for their rally stage, this was their first bike event of the year. This was not the super bikes but everything up to that. So there were a number of classes, I think the largest being Ducati 650s. I arrived about 9:30 and stayed until about 2 o’clock, this covered a number of qualifying events and approximately six races. On arrival I met up with Robbie Holgate from the camera club and we spent most of the time walking around together. I roughly knew where I wanted to go haven’t been here for other events and found a couple of corners to capture a single or multiple bikes as they lead into the apex of the corners. I got some shots that I was very pleased with.
It was less crowded than I expected and although the weather was overcast, this worked to my favour as the bikes and the leathers were very highly coloured and high contrast, and bright sunlight would’ve caused more challenges.
